When recycled aluminum is melted, organic impurities such as oil, paint, plastics, etc. decompose under high temperature conditions, releasing various gases including oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, and ethylene. During this process, approximately 100 to 200 cubic meters of gas can be generated per ton of impurities, with oxygen accounting for approximately 10% to 20%. Therefore, the high-temperature decomposition of each ton of impurities can produce approximately 10 to 40 cubic meters of oxygen. In the smelting of recycled aluminum, approximately 0.5 to 1.5 kilograms of alumina can be produced per cubic meter of oxygen.
Through the Zhongneng can paint removal system, organic impurities such as paint and attached plastics on the surface of the can can can be removed and decarburized in advance through high-temperature cracking. Compared to direct melting without paint stripping, this method can increase the recovery rate of aluminum water in cans by 5% to 10%. For example, if the customer produces 30000 tons of cans annually, an additional 1500 tons of aluminum can be recovered after repainting. This method not only brings environmental benefits, but also directly creates considerable economic value for customers.
